Investment Advisory Service

Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Management

Central States Portfolio Management service is offered to individuals, pension and profit sharing plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations, and other business entities. Portfolios are managed on a fee basis and meet the fiduciary standard of care.

This service provides continuous monitoring and managing of a client’s investment portfolio. Portfolio changes are made as market conditions warrant. Investment decisions are made by Central States Capital Markets on a discretionary basis with the goal of providing the client with reasonable investment returns that are consistent with the amount of risk taken in the portfolio.

Equity portfolios are comprised primarily of individual stocks and will typically be diversified across a wide range of industries, economic sectors, and market capitalizations. In addition, cash equivalents may be used in portfolios if it is deemed advisable to reduce risk.

Fixed income portfolios usually contain individual bonds. Bond composition may include municipal, corporate, U.S. government and U.S. government agency bonds. Bonds are selected for the portfolios with considerations given to quality, maturity and taxability. Investment grade bonds with maturities ranging from one to twelve years typically comprise the majority of the portfolio.
